Jan. 23rd, 2014 06:13 pmTRIGGERS. Miles's canon includes (fairly realistic) depiction of war, murder, torture, and consequences of rape. He himself has some rare suicidal ideation. If you need me to steer clear of any topics, just let me know.
MEDICAL INFO. He is 4'8" tall, weighs 40 kg. (~88 lbs.), his head is slightly too big for his frame, he has a small hunch, and he might limp on occasion. His bones have all been replaced with synthetics. There's extensive networks of scarring all across his body-- some messy, some fine precise lines showing where his bones were removed and replaced, and notably some thin scarring around his neck. Alcohol makes him sleepy, a whole class of potent sedatives makes him unintelligibly babble, and he has strong allergic reactions to many many drugs, very unpredictably. He also has a seizure disorder, triggered by stress and physiologically by high levels of certain neurotransmitters. Overall, though, he's perfectly human and his genetics show no mutation whatsoever.
MENTAL INFO. There's nothing supernatural or inhuman about Miles, so feel free to pick up on anything in his inner monologue if your character's a telepath or empath. I don't mind at all.
FOURTH-WALLING. I'm incredibly doubtful that anyone has any canon basis to be able to fourth wall this. I'll have to go with no unless you have a strong case.
PHYSICAL CONTACT. Yup! He'll probably have very different reactions, depending, but he's not likely to get violent from it or anything like that. Go right ahead.
ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. Female, dark haired, and the taller the better is his type. So yes, I'm open to it. He doesn't do casual relationships very well, and he might propose if he ends up liking her a lot (no, really-- I'm so sorry) but you are under no obligation to go along with him, haha.
INJURE/KILL. Oh, absolutely. Miles gets beat up regularly and he's particularly physically fragile, so it's not even difficult, lol. Killing I'll be saying no to for plot reasons for the foreseeable future.
DEVICE HACKING. Miles isn't by any means a computer whiz as a special skill, but he is from very far into the future and is trained in breaking through computer security. He's definitely not impossible to fool, but we should probably discuss this before you do anything with it.
THREADJACKING. Sure! You don't need to ask.
BACKTAGGING. I try very hard to backtag for at least a month after the thread was started. Not to say I never drop things, but if you'd like a thread to be moving quicker or want to make sure it isn't dropped, just let me know and I'd be happy to prioritize it.
